BREAKING INTO WEB DEVELOPMENT AS A BEGINNER
My Journey into Web Development: Where I'm At and Where I'm Going.
Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share my journey into web development with you all. I've always been fascinated by the way websites work, and I've finally decided to take the plunge and learn how to build them myself.
Why Web Development?
I've always been interested in tech, and web development seems like a field that's constantly evolving and offering new challenges. Plus, the thought of being able to create something from scratch that's accessible to millions of people is pretty cool.
Where I'm At
Right now, I'm just starting out, and I'm focusing on learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It's been a lot to take in, but I'm enjoying the process. I'm using online resources like FreeCodeCamp, W3Schools, and YouTube tutorials to learn.
The Challenges
One of the biggest challenges I've faced so far is understanding how all the different pieces fit together. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are all important, but it's hard to know when to use each one. I'm also struggling a bit with debugging – finding and fixing errors in my code.
The Wins
Despite the challenges, I've had some wins along the way. I built my first webpage using HTML and CSS, and it was a great feeling seeing it come to life in the browser. I've also started working on some small projects, like a to-do list app, which has helped me practice my JavaScript skills.
What's Next
In the coming weeks and months, I plan to dive deeper into React and Node.js. I'm excited to learn about frameworks and libraries that can help me build more complex applications. I'm also looking forward to working on some real-world projects that can help me build my portfolio.
Join the Journey
If you're interested in web development or just starting out like me, I'd love to connect with you! Let's learn together and share our experiences.
Thanks for reading, and I'll be sure to post updates on my journey as I progress! š
